BE NOLA’s fourth annual summit, BLACK IS BRILLIANT, continues our work to define and advocate for Black educational excellence and equity through a citywide gathering of 600+ Black educators, community leaders, activists, artists, scholars, and visionaries to dream a future for ourselves that is uniquely for us, by us.

Black Is Brilliant Summit is both a virtual and in-person space! Summit is streamed worldwide and throughout local Black-owned businesses in New Orleans, too. However, nothing is more hype than our in-person experience! This year, we'll be gathering to celebrate Black education and educators on New Orleans's Black Wall Street, Bayou Road. There will be joyous music, dancing, food, art, and learning installations!

All registrants will receive access to the BE NOLA Community App, a curated virtual community of Black educators, nonprofit leaders and community members. Thanks to the generous support of our partners you can enjoy the Summit programming for free.  However, we invite you to make a contribution to keep this event free for Black educators when you register.
